Horseshoe Guest Farm - Drakensberg wedding venue - KwaZulu Natal farm weddings | Horse Shoe Guest Farm is your perfect farm wedding venue in the foothills of the Drakensberg. The farm is situated 45 km south of Newcastle on the road to Ladysmith in a safe pastoral setting. The atmosphere of the function hall is best described as "country-style sophisticated" and presents your guests with beautiful views of the Drakensberg. We are renowned for our old-fashioned hospitality and exceptional catering.
We offer accomodation for approximately 45 guests in comfortable rooms on the farm, mostly en-suite. More accomodation is available close-by on neighbouring farms or in New Castle.
We deliver a personal service with menus customised to your personal preferences. The function hall can accomodate 150 guests, while the ceremony takes place on the terrace in front of the farmhouse. We do not have a liquor licence, so bridal couples are welcome to provide their own alcohol. Alternatively, we can make arrangements with the local liquor store to handle the bar.
